Scott #233 [1933 25 øre blue Caravel] Used with F-VF+ centering and a SUPERB SKIVE 5 December 1933 cancellation. Very attractive with delicate greenish-blue color, nice centering, and excellent perforations. An outstanding example in all respects. This stamp is "extremely scarce" with such a perfectly centered cancellation. In Used condition, this is the key face-different stamp of the entire Engraved Caravel issue. This stamp is missing (or not in such nice quality) from many high-quality Used Danish collections and also missing from Danish collections in the category of "one of each stamp with a perfect cancellation"! ACTUAL item. |
