54 [1902 15 øre Arms] Used with F-VF centering and an almost perfectly centered KOLDING April 1905 bridge-type cancellation (Swiss style because of the vertical bars), but slightly irregular impression. Because this stamp was issued for and mostly saw use on either parcel cards or as the registry fee on registered letters, they tend to have heavy and poorly centered cancellations. Examples of this stamp with such a neat and well-centered cancellation are remarkably scarce compared to other stamps of the same time period. ACTUAL item. |
