Scott #35 Light Green, Printing 3 [1882 (June 1883 printing) 5 øre Arms with Small Corner Numerals] Used with F-VF centering, but with a thin and one short perforation tooth (hidden by the cancellation). Almost perfectly centered (Superb) "KJØBENHAVN / KB" single-ring cancellation. (This specific cancellation style never included a year date.) This cancellation style is actively collected -- nicely struck examples are challenging to find. The paper of the "Small Corner Numerals" stamps is extremely thin, thus easily damaged and not many have survived without defects. A very attractive-looking example of a scarce stamp, at a great price. Otherwise, this centering with this wonderful postmark quality would be $110! ACTUAL item. |
