Scott #45, 20 mm Frame, Facit #55, NK #55 [1888 25 øre Posthorn, 20 mm Frame] Used with Fine+ centering, but with a thin. Superbly centered and fully-dated 5 (8 or 9, August September) 1891 GILDESKAAL single-ring cancellation. (This year date of this particular town postmark is always without the leading "18".) This is a somewhat scarcer small-town cancellation. Though it has an NK Postal 2014 rarity factor of "2", it is much, much scarcer in such nice quality. If not for the thin, this would be $45! ACTUAL item. |
