B2 [1930 20 + 25 øre Nordkap] Used VF+ with neat (D)OVREBA(NEN) 1930s-type RAILWAY cancellation. This cancel on this stamp is scarce -- from 1930-1931 this stamp was only sold at Nordkap and Oslo, and then through 1935, this stamp was only being sold at a few additional locations: Bergen, Trondheim, Hammerfest, and on board the Hurtigruten Bergen - Kirkenes ships. Uses at other locations, and especially on trains even after 1935, are seldom seen as before 1936 the stamp would have to be brought in by the sender.

115 [1926 10 øre Lion] (F-VF) on 1927 picture post card with GUDVANGEN bridge-style cancellation (scarcer small town), to the Netherlands with receiver handstamp. The card pictures a young couple wearing regional costume dress (Hardanger?), and has a small thumbtack hole, but otherwise is in excellent quality. Published by "J. Karlsen, Bergen", the card is a very thick, very high-quality multi-colored production with printed colors (I cannot count them all, but may be more than 8 colors) on a textured surface (which is difficult to print). Very attractive and unusual.

Scott #O13a [1937 15 øre Official, Narrow Design, Typographed / Letterpress] Used with VF-XF centering and well-centered, mostly complete, 7 December 1938 KYRK(SÆT)ERØRA bridge-style cancellation. From a small town in TRØNDELAG county, west of Trondheim. The Norgeskatalogen Postal II (2014) cancellation catalog assigns this cancellation a rarity rating of 3, however, any small-town cancellation is "rare" on this particular stamp -- the vast majority of cancellations that I have seen on this stamp are either from Oslo or a few other larger towns/cities. Furthermore, any fully-dated proper-period cancellation is unusual on this particular stamp (genuinely Used is much scarcer than Mint). This is an exceptional example of this stamp -- this the key stamp of the set in properly Used condition and is probably the key Used stamp of all the Norwegian Officials.

Scott #O21 [1933 100 øre Official] VERTICAL PAIR. Used with VF centering, but with a couple small bends. Used multiples (even "just" pairs) of this stamp are quite hard to find. This example is especially interesting because of an unusual (and thematically interesting) postmark: 3 August 1936 "LANDBRUKHØYSKOLEN i ÅS" bridge-style cancellation that is complete on the pair (though at an angle). The cancellation is from the Agricultural High School in Ås, south of Oslo. The Norgeskatalogen Postal II (2014) cancellation catalog assigns this cancellation a rarity rating of 3, but a long-name postmarks are hard to find complete.
