72 [1907 5 øre Frederik VIII] (F-VF) on 21 June 1910 REAL PHOTO picture post card showing the bustle of activity (including street cars) in front of the København city hall. Mailed to an Aarhus address, but with a black straight-line "Fra Aarhus" postmark applied on incoming ship mail at København (Skilling #1). Presumably posted on board ship en route from Aarhus to København and then routed back to Aarhus. The cancel, this nice, on a plain cover would easily fetch $40; this card is a very nice one and has significant value of its own.

89, 94 (dam., Fine) on 1930 picture post card (British Bonzo letterbox cartoon) to the U.S. mailed from the island of Bornholm or onboard the ship from Bornholm to København, with nice "Fra Rønne" incoming ship mail cancellation and København dated machine cancellation.

RE35 F-VF 3-strip on extremely unusual 8 February 1935 cover. Posted from the Danish naval training ship DANMARK (a handsome 3-mast tall ship with a complement of 125) during a visit to Norfolk, VA, USA. Jointly franked with a U.S. 3 Cent stamp (William Penn), both are canceled with a "NORFOLK, VA / HAMPTON ROADS BR" duplex postmark. Cacheted to commemorate the visit. Accompanied by an original clipping of a newspaper clipping (Norfolk Ledger) picturing the ship and discussing the visit. Quite remarkable; the only such type of advertising pair usage I have encountered. This particular pair is also scarce on cover.
