This is the "yellower" of the two colors of this stamp. While this is not a "scarce" stamp in normal quality, such well-centered examples are remarkably hard to find, especially of this color. Scott #C5, Facit #138vm-crown [1920 50 öre Blue Surcharge on 4 öre Official, AIRMAIL, with CROWN WATERMARK] Mint, Original Gum, Lightly Hinged, with XF centering. The crown watermark is clearly visible without watermark fluid, and is even clearer with fluid (and there are NO problems shown in fluid). This stamp is perhaps the scarcest of the Scandinavian airmail stamps that is priced low enough to be accessible to many collectors. That being said, it is quite hard to obtain and always sells quickly when it is found. The reverse bears two lightly handstamped or lightly signed owners or experts marks (one of them twice). This stamp is accompanied by a 2026 Jay Smith color image certificate with a "lifetime guarantee" (details of the guarantee are available upon request). Such well centered examples of this stamp are exceptionally scarce. An extraordinarily attractive example of a scarce stamp that is missing from most Swedish collections! ACTUAL item. |

C8c, Facit #337C [1942 Swans Airmail, Perforated 4-sides] Used VF lightly canceled 4-block. Has a couple tiny scuffs (these were normally used for parcels and were treated very roughly), but blocks are scarce and this is one of the nicest I have seen in a long time. ACTUAL item. |
