Scott #B32 [1928 5 öre King Gustaf V / Cancer Semi-Postal] NEVER HINGED with F-VF centering. Top sheet margin example with cylinder number "1". The stamp itself is NH; there is a light hinge mark in the sheet margin. The couple tiny holes in the margin are "gripper" holes caused by the device that helps carry the paper through the printing press. Though I have never seen this information documented in the literature for the 1928 Cancer semi-postal issue, the printing "plate" was composed of two half-cylinders (just as all the stamps Scott #115-263, B32-6, and C6-7), one half-cylinder bore this "1" in the sheet margin and the other half-cylinder bore a "2". Though these markings would have appeared on every sheet, it is "extremely rare" to find them because most were long ago broken up for single stamps and their sheet margins removed. This is the first example I have recorded seeing in 52 years (though I may have seen an example and failed to record or remember it).
