These bargain-priced stamps are attractive, but may have hidden flaws. Some have no defects at all, but the price is lower simply because of the centering. Unlike some dealers who might not pay attention to and lower the price for such situations, I describe the stamps completely and I set prices accordingly. You can save a tremendous amount of money when you add such stamps to your collection. Each stamp is one of a kind, so please let me know if I may substitute a different example (that looks as good or better, for about the same cost) if the stamp you order has sold. If you have any doubts, all these stamps can be available for viewing on approval. Regardless, you may always return stamps if you are not completely satisfied. If you are seeking any other U.S. stamps of this quality and price level, just send along your want list -- I will be happy to send bargains on approval. Scott numbers have been used unless otherwise stated.
Scott #86 [1868 1c blue Franklin, E grill] Used with Average-Fine centering, but couple perforation tips creased, one short tip amended (only visible under 10x magnification), and minor toning on a couple perf tips. Other than those perf tips, a fundamentally sound stamp. Neat segmented pie wedges cancellation. Bright color and detailed engraved impression. A respectable example of a scarce stamp. (Scott 2022 $450.)

Scott #93 Very Thin Paper [1868 2c black Andrew Jackson, F Grill] Used with Average centering and light rings cancellation, but a "hidden" crease. A couple of the usual shorter perforation teeth. Gray-looking paper that is a combination of grayish paper and inadequate wiping of excess ink from the plate -- an interesting variety. An interesting example of the "Black Jack". The very thin paper is a Scott-listed variety. (Scott 2022 value $60 for very thin paper.)
