Sweden #77 GROUP OF SEVEN POST CARDS [1911 5 öre Gustav in Round Frame, Unwatermarked] A nice selection of 7 BUSINESS 1913-1915 post cards, with business correspondence, showing different styles of cards. Five of them are all-different "formular" cards intended to look like postal stationery postal cards -- one of them does exactly mimic a postal card with a "posthorn frame" (especially sought after). The other two are all-different "continuos" cards that were printed in strips or rolls and perforated between the cards; they were intended to be rolled into a typewriter and the messages typed, many at a time. One card has a VF RAILWAY cancellation; two cards have small-village cancellations. While this stamp on a post card is not "scarce", such cards represent an important chapter in postal communication of this era. Priced very low as a mini-collection. ACTUAL item. |
