C1 [1930 Zeppelin overprint] (VF) on very attractive 24 September 1930 Finnish post card from HELSINKI to Braunschweig, Germany. Correct violet illustrated (zeppelin) "SUOMI / FINLAND" postmark and correct Friedrichshafen, Germany, receiving postmark. A single stamp was required for post cards. Wonderful quality. The used stamp alone sells for $290 in this quality!

C5, 312 [1958 34 mk Airmail, 1955 1 mk M-54 Lion type] (VF) on 25 December 1960 airmail printed matter rate picture post card from TAMPERE, with machine cancel, to the U.S., correctly paying the 35 mk rate (15 mk first 50 grams surface rate for the printed matter (card in this case) 1 August 1958 - 31 December 1962; 20 mk per 20 grams airmail surcharge to Zone 3, 1 April 1959 - 31 December 1962). Sent to Doris Ridgway, a little girl who was dying (the newspaper articles of the day said of lung cancer) and wanted to receive Christmas cards. Scarce rate and use.

Small-size, attractive express covers are quite scarce!
