Scott #50c INVERTED FRAME, Printing 11 from Positions 91-100. Facit #43bb, AFA #29Cy [1903 25 øre Bicolor Perf 12.75, Large Watermark] Used with VF centering and neat cancellation well clear of the upper left corner showing the inverted frame. For the 25 øre with this watermark, two printings can have inverted frames, the printing 10 with emerald oval and THIS Printing 11 with a more yellow-green oval. Both printings exist with isolated inverted frames in position 51 (with different identifiable oval characteristics), and in positions 91-100 (of which this example is one). Though this is the lowest catalog value stamp in the "Bicolor Large Watermark Inverted Frame" group, it is amazingly difficult to find nice examples. An outstanding example in wonderful, seldom-seen quality.

From the J.A. 1895-1905 Perforation 13 Bicolors: 25 Øre continued ...
Scott #50c INVERTED FRAME, Printing 11 from Positions 91-100. Facit #43bb, AFA #29Cy [1903 25 øre Bicolor Perf 12.75, Large Watermark] Used with Fine centering, with fully dated 12 April 1911 cancellation that still clearly shows the upper left corner thus clearly showing the inverted frame. One small discolored spot on top center perforation (mostly hidden by the cancellation). Though this is the lowest catalog value stamp in the "Bicolor Large Watermark Inverted Frame" group, it is surprisingly difficult to find, especially at such a low price. From the J.A. Farrington Bicolor Collection and with Lasse Nielsen identification tag in his handwriting. Lasse Nielsen was the premier bicolor expert and author of the bicolor handbook.
