B2 [1921 "+10+" overprinted surcharge on 20 øre Sønderborg Castle, South Jutland Reunion; Red Cross semi-postal] Used VF 4-block with neat central postmark. It is difficult to be 100% sure due to the cancellation, but the upper left stamp appears to have the well-known AFA-listed 121x variety "missing white dot in 0 of 20" that occurs in position 2 of every plate/sheet. If that is the case, then this block contains sheet positions 2-3/12-13 and with some research into the plating of the underlying stamp it should be possible to confirm those plate positions. If this contains the variety, the variety alone is valued by AFA 2023 at DKK 1200 = $165 (10/2022). However, even nice used singles of this stamp are now scarce. Facit 2022 PER-STAMP value is SEK 600 and AFA 2023 is DKK 600 = $84 each (10/2022) for ordinary quality. Used blocks are seldom seen. The AFA 4-BLOCK Catalog 2017 (most recent edition) value is DKK 3000 = $420 (10/2022). A handsome and scarce Used block. ACTUAL item. |

223a / B6 Pair [1937 5 øre gray green Wavy-Lines and 5 øre Dybbøl Mill semi-postal] Used horizontal pair with XF-Superb centering and very neat cancellation. The booklet pane from which this came is the only possible source for the Gray Green 5 øre Wavy-Lines stamp. Used examples of the single #223a are always in strong demand -- a Used VF single sells for $48; this is even nicer quality. The presence of the semi-postal stamp does not increase the value very much, but it confirms the color of the #223a. ACTUAL item. |

VF: 5+5 øre semi-postal. [Scott #B9] Tete-beche with gutter. Full sheet-wide strip with sheet margins, which for this stamp means one extra stamp on each end (has been folded between the t-b pair and the extra stamps). The extra stamps do not increase the price, but examples such as this are extremely scarce.
