Scott #2619 COLOR SMEAR [1992 29 cent Olympic Baseball] NH VF left margin vertical 8-block showing significant excess blue smearing or overwash, stronger on the upper stamps. This type of "freak" usually results from excess ink coverage combined with inadequate plate wiping. Such items are seldom seen, especially on such a strongly topical stamp issue.

3119 [1996 2x 50c Cycling souvenir sheet] NH VF with added "TOUR OF CHINA 96", in English and Chinese text, private overprint in GOLD with route through cities of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Shanghai. Scott mentions gold and silver versions and gives a $17.50 price for the pair. This added printing was probably done outside the U.S. as this type of added printing is not allowed in the U.S. on U.S. stamps. While not "rare" this seems to be unusual -- I have only gotten an example every 2-3 years.

Scott #3275 [1999 55c Victorian Love] This stamp was issued in 1999 for a different postage rate purpose, but it is very useful again now for the current 55 cent 1-ounce letter rate. [Mailers should be aware of the envelope size limitations for normal 1 ounce envelopes at the 55 cent rate; larger size envelopes, sometimes used for wedding invitations, may require more postage than 55 cents. For envelope size information see this page on the post office website or take a sample envelope to your local post office.] The subject matter of this stamp (love, heart, roses, lace) is perfect for weddings, anniversaries, and many other types of celebrations. This is a SELF-STICK stamp that is die-cut to an attractive shape, but is supplied as issued with the backing paper around it -- it is extremely easy and quick to peel off the backing paper. Because this is such a great stamp for wedding invitations at the current 55 cent rate, and since it has been around since 1999, the limited remaining supplies of this stamp are being used up very quickly (the post office sold out about 18 years ago). I get quantity requests for this stamp from people willing to pay $1.50 per stamp, but I am often not able to supply it for them. When I have supplies available, I offer this stamp at prices that depend upon the quantity being ordered; the more you order, the lower the price. (Orders under $40 or requiring special shipping or shipping outside the U.S., incur a shipping and handling charge; orders over $40 sent by ordinary first class mail within the U.S. have FREE shipping and handling.)
1.50
Up to about 160 stamps are currently available. Price is per one stamp. Order 20 or more stamps at $1.40 each; 50 more stamps at $1.30 each. Discount will be given when order is invoiced (discount is NOT shown in shopping cart).

Scott #4905c Souvenir Sheet [2014 $1 Ringling Brothers Clown and 50c Circus Wagon (2) Transportation "coil" series stamps] NH VF IMPERFORATE souvenir sheet WITH LARGE WHITE RECTANGULAR MARGINS. As listed for 4905c, the central stamps are imperforate (no die cutting around any of the three stamps), but the red and gold decorated frame has die-cutting around the outside; with white rectangular margins beyond that. As explained in the Scott footnote, 4905c comes only from imperforate press sheets. (As Scott explains, there is also a much more costly and scarce version, issued only in the 2014 Year Book, that has the outer frame die-cutting cut all the way through making an irregular shaped souvenir sheet.) THIS IS BY FAR THE LOWEST COST WAY TO OBTAIN THE IMPERFORATE EXAMPLES OF THIS SOUVENIR SHEET AND THE STAMPS IT CONTAINS. (Because the die-cut-out version in the year book had general distribution, that means that the stamps in that costly version, which are identical to the stamps in this version (!!), are "normal-issue stamps"!!) While this IMPERFORATE (central stamps) souvenir sheet is available in the marketplace if you look hard enough, they are getting hard to find. I needed one for a client and I had trouble finding a dealer willing to sell me several; when I found such a dealer, I bought some! I anticipate that this is a grossly under-appreciated and under-valued item because it is, by far, the least costly way to obtain the Scott-listed imperforate stamps #4905d and #4905e. In addition, it has great topical appeal and has a connection (the 50 cent Circus Wagon stamps) to the extremely popular Transportation Coil Series stamps. You may be able to find one cheaper if you look hard enough, but I am just happy to have a couple of these available.
