Scott #S1a Booklet Pane of 10, but without mounting tab [1954 10c Wet Printing Booklet Stamps, Minute Man; Savings] Mint booklet pane of 10 with hinge remnants on the top stamps and NEVER HINGED on the bottom stamps. The mounting tab is not present. The centering in the pane varies, as usual, from Fine to F-VF to VF. Brilliant, fresh color. As evidenced by the 2025 Scott value of $150 for a NH pane, these panes are scarce -- very few were saved. (A regular postage stamp -- for which there is more demand -- booklet pane of such scarcity would be several hundred dollars!) Many of the extent booklet panes of this stamp only survived intact because, back in the day, the Scott "American" album had a space for this pane. From a collection mounted in 1960, 65 years ago!
